Alwin "Al" SEELEY

Alwin L. “Al” SEELEY, 73, of Potter Brook Road, Westfield, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in his home surrounded by his daughters. 

Born May 30, 1949, in Teed Hollow, he was the son of Floyd E. and Bonita “Bonnie” Houghtaling Seeley.  On December 14, 1969, in Ulysses, he married the former Sandra J. Madison, who predeceased him on January 14, 2023.  He was employed by Electri-Cord in Westfield and served as caretaker of Riverview Cemetery in Potter Brook.  Al loved spending time in his woodworking shop.  He was an active member of Sabinsville Volunteer Fire and Ambulance for many years.  

Surviving are:  four daughters, Bethany Chapman, Stephany (Bryan) Hurler, Mindy (Tony) Bump, and Shelly (Cody) Perry;  nine grandchildren;  four great-grandchildren;  a sister, Neita (Gary) Hurley of Shinglehouse;  a brother, Clyde (Debra) Seeley of Virginia Beach, VA;  an uncle;  three aunts;  nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife and parents.  

Friends may call Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook.  

Memorials may be made to Sabinsville Volunteer Ambulance or Clymer Township Volunteer Hose Co.
