Bernita J. BALDWIN

Bernita J. BALDWIN, 92, of Wellsville, died Friday, August 29, 2025, in the Wellsville Manor Care Center.

Born November 4, 1932, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Percy J. and Winifred M. Crum Gavitt.

On March 17, 1951, she married Edward S. “Pat” Baldwin, who predeceased her on May 27, 2000.

A graduate of Wellsville High School, she was employed for many years in the cafeteria at the Wellsville Elementary School.

Bernita is survived by two sons, Jerry Baldwin and Terry Baldwin; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by, a son, Douglas J.  Baldwin; a grandson, Joshua Baldwin; and two sisters, Bernice Fuller and Beverly Cornish.

Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
