Carlton L. "Reuben" Broughton, 74, of 4192B Bolivar Road died on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Manor Hills following a brief illness. He was born March 4, 1936 in the Town of Jasper the son of Otto and Annie (Brooks) Broughton. Reuben was a former resident of the South Canisteo area and has been a resident of Wellsville since 1974.
He is survived by a brother, John R. Broughton and a sister, Betty (John) Schmeh both of Lockport and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Leola Broughton in 1969, Genevieve Carpenter in 2006 and Jane Broughton in 2008.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville with Minister in charge, Glen Layfield presiding.
