Carol L. McGRAW, 80, of Whitesville, NY, died Sunday, October 2, 2022 in Wellsville Manor Care Center.
Born December 30, 1941, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Victor and Rachel Gardner Williams. On March 18, 1961, in Scio, she married Lewis C. McGraw, who predeceased her on July 15, 2020. A graduate of Scio Central School, she was employed by Jones Memorial Hospital, Birdseye in East Avon, Hurlbut Care Communities, Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and Holiday Inn. Carol was a member of First United Methodist Church in Whitesville. She enjoyed puzzles, arts and crafts, and painting.
Surviving are: three children, Brian E. McGraw of Whitesville, Melanie (Don Johnson) Stam of Hamburg, and Melinda (Ronald) Knox of Andover; two grandchildren, Jason (Desiree) Stam and Jessica (Steven) Masocco; four great-grandchildren, Teagan, Mason, Max, and Mila; a brother, Victor (Pat) Williams of Killeen, TX; brother-in-law, Duane McGraw of Whitesville; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Williams.
Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM– 12:00 Noon, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. Tammy Wise will officiate. Burial will be Whitesville Rural Cemetery.
