Charles G. Ludwig
AUSTIN- Charles G. Ludwig, 73, of Summit St., passed away Wednesday (Oct. 16, 2024) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
Born February 23, 1951, in Coudersport, he was a son of George R. and Elizabeth Norek Ludwig. On Oct. 15, 2007, in Coudersport, he married Laurie A. Stebick, who survives.
Charles was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Austin Area High School, class of 1969.
He was employed with Morgan Advanced Materials, Coudersport, for 44 years, before his retirement.
Charles was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Laurie, are two daughters, Jennifer (Curt) Leightly of Austin, Magen (Dan Majot) Ludwig of Coudesport; two stepsons, Joseph (Crystal) Burgett of Austin, Nathan (Shaina) Burgett of Port Allegany; three grandchildren: Nick, Noah, and Elyssa Leightly; a great-grandson, Oliver Leightly; three step-grandchildren: Blake, Dalton, and Haidyn Burgett; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later time & date to be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
