Charles T. MESS, 66, of Riverside Drive, Wellsville, NY, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in the Comfort House of Allegany County, Wellsville.
Born August 10, 1959, in North Hornell, he was the son of Robert Mess and Phylis Jean Biddle. He is survived by a daughter, Emily Mess; and a son, Tyler Mess. He was predeceased by his parents.
He studied autobody repair at Alfred Tech with his close friend, Robert Herrod, and made a career as a mechanic. He was employed by Cline's and D&J. A loner, he preferred to keep to himself, only bonding with his daughter and longtime friend. He didn't really care to stress about much, but everyone knew that he was passionate about his love for his daughter, despite struggling to show it openly. He was passionate about his career and hardworking with his skills. His career even manifested at home and in other creative areas, as he loved to work on projects even off the clock, fixing cars for friends or even modifying a minibike for his daughter. In his spare time, he loved gaming, coloring, watching movies, and blasting his favorite bands on his stereo. He was known by many, but only truly known by very few and that was how he wanted it.
Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust & Embser Funeral Homes & Cremation, 34 West State Street, Wellsville, NY. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com.
