Christine L. HALE, 65, of Friendship, NY, died Saturday, February 14, 2026, in UR Jones Memorial Hospital. 

Born June 14, 1960, in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of Wayne and Blanche M. LaPolt Hanlon. On September 23, 1978, in Wellsville, she married Dean R. Hale, who survives. Christine was employed as an LPN by Wellsville Manor and Jan & Bev’s Home Care, Inc. 

Surviving besides her husband, Dean, are: two daughters, Bonnie Hale of Wellsville and Tonya (Andy Keeler) Olejniczak of Hornell; a son-in-law, Richard Olejniczak; six grandchildren, Isaiah Cornelius, Maylynn Skinner, Colen Hale, Harley Berry, Harmony Berry, and Richard Olejniczak; great-grandchildren, Robert Cornelius, Nicholas Poluton, and one on the way, Evelyn Skinner; two brothers, Richard Apger and Edward Apgar; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her stepfather, Edward Apgar; and several siblings.
