Christopher Golden, 55, of 237 O’Connor Street passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 shortly after arrival at Jones Memorial Hospital. He was born December 21, 1960 in Binghamton, NY the son of the late Roger and Lois (Smith) Golden.
Christopher was formerly employed by Piece Work Industries in Wellsville. While living at the Arc home in Alfred, he participated in activities at Lighthouse Ministries. He will be sadly missed by the Allegany Arc staff and residents in both Alfred and the O’Connor Street residence in Wellsville.
He is survived by two brothers, Roger (Ann) Golden of Brewster, NY and Alton (Sue) Golden of Georges Mill, NH, two sisters, Elaine (Bill) Kenny of Reno, NV, and Lucile (Rob) Clougherty of Cosco, ME, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Wellsville on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. The funeral will follow visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellsville.
