Christy L.
GRAHAM
Nov 11, 1977 — Aug 27, 2026
Belmont, NY
Christy L. GRAHAM, 48, of Belmont, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
She was born November 11, 1977, in Wellsville. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and friend whose love and kindness touched the lives of so many. Christy was a devoted wife who deeply loved her husband and cherished the life they built together. She was a loving mother and grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her, and the memories they shared together will forever be cherished. She had a special gift for caring for others. Whether it was through kind words, a helping hand, or simply being there when someone needed her. Christy gave so much of herself to others and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Christy also adored her faithful dog, Lucy, who brought her companionship and joy. She loved being surrounded by the people she cared about, sharing stories, and most of all making memories with those she loved the most. She was a woman of incredible strength, carrying herself through life with a resilience that inspired everyone around her. Even through the hardest moments, she continued to love deeply, give freely, and find reasons to laugh. Her strength was not always loud or visible, but it was woven into everything she did and will remain a lasting part of the legacy she leaves behind. Although her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of those who loved her, her kindness, laughter, and love will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, family and those whose lives she touched.
Christy is survived by her loving husband, Michael Graham, of Belmont; her beloved mother, Sonya Howard, of Olean; two sons, Ryan (Courtney) Wallace of Branson, MO and Karson (Tesla Greenman) Wallace of Friendship; two daughters, Bethany (Charles Lewis) Wallace of Branson, MO and Emma Graham of Belmont; all of whom she loved with all of her heart. She was a proud and deeply loving grandmother to Truee, Ransom, Harpyr, Brynlee, Kamery, Kingston, Ella, and a precious grandchild yet to be born, Rhythm. Her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life, and she loved each of them more than words could ever express. She is also survived by a brother, Jonathan Johnson of Olean; six sisters, Tracy Trunko of Olean NY, Amy (Ken) Wetherby of Hinsdale, Bobbi Hadden of Virginia, Tabatha (DJ) Thomas of Wellsville, Tonya (Jeff) Layman of Scio, and Tiffany (Laramy) Cornelius of Wellsville; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts. She was predeceased by her beloved father, James Johnson, in 2018; as well as her very special aunt, Connie Howells, in 2021, who held a truly cherished place in her heart. Their losses were deeply felt, and the love and memories they shared remained with her throughout her life.
Christy will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but the way she made people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
