PORT ALLEGANY- Connie B. Allen, 77, passed away Friday (Oct. 6, 2023) in her home.

Born November 16, 1945, in Blossburg, PA, she was a daughter of Guy and Della Butler Sweet.

Connie worked as a waitress at the former ABC Restaurant, Burtville, and most recently as a private home healthcare worker, before she retired.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, and going to garage sales.

Surviving is a son, Timothy A. (Deb) Allen of Mishawaka, IN; three daughters, Tina M. (Ron) Wilfong, and Shelly M. Allen both of Port Allegany, Cherry M. (Patrick) Hoffman of Jackson, MO; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gene Peterson of Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Jackie (Bill) Grady of Johnstown, PA; and 3 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Toni Lynn Allen.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
