Dale J. STEADMAN

Dale J. STEADMAN, 79, of Genesee, PA, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in his home. 

Born January 21, 1946, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Russell L. and Mary M. Freeman Steadman. On May 21, 1988, he married Claudia V. Adams McNeely, who predeceased him on November 7, 2022. A 1963 graduate of Northern Potter High School, he was employed by Dresser-Rand in Wellsville for over 43 years, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Genesee Community Church, Local #1580 International Association of Machinists, and served on the Genesee Township Water Authority for 30 years. 

Surviving are: two children, Clay (Valerie) Steadman of Wellsville, NY and Holly (Daniel) Pulver of Dunedin, FL; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three step-children, Douglas (Colleen) McNeely of Canal Winchester, OH, Lynne (Terry) Pasi of Westerville, OH, and Jeffrey (Jackie) McNeely of Delaware, OH; nine step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy (Larry) Snow of Addison, NY; and a niece. 

Friends may call at Genesee Community Church on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Harold Kiel will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery.
