David C. TYLER

David C. TYLER, 66, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Scio, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY.

Born June 16, 1954, in Wellsville, he was the son of Charles and Melvina Musto Tyler.  A US Navy Veteran, he served honorably from 1973 – 1977.  On June 26, 1996, in Stannards, he married the former Katherine Hults, who survives.  He was employed as a landscaper and builder in Texas and then worked for the Village of Wellsville sanitation department.  David was a past member of Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Squad.  David loved everyone and will be missed.

Surviving besides his wife, Kathy, are:  four sons, David C. Tyler II of Belfast, John Burley, Brian Burley, and Rob Mack, all of Wellsville;  14 grandchildren;  two great-grandchildren;  a sister, Sandra Dasher of FL;  several other brothers and sisters;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his parents.

Services will be private.  Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.  Memorials may be made to the family.
