Deborah K. JEFFERS

Deborah K. JEFFERS, 56, of Ulysses, PA, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. Born June 30, 1956, in Santa Monica, CA, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Betty Gambill Hughes. On June 29, 1974, in Mar Vista, CA, she married James E. Jeffers, who survives. She was employed by Adelphia, Ulysses Lumber, and Time Warner. Deb was a member of the Ulysses Free Methodist Church, the Tri-Town Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary, and was a volunteer for Family Life Network. Surviving besides her husband, Jim, are: her mother, Betty Dannelly of Ulysses; her father, Kenneth (Mary) Hughes of Lakeview, AR; a daughter, Tracy (Aaron) Haskins of Bradford, PA; two sons, Timothy (Kristen) Jeffers of Virginia Beach, VA and Todd (Amelia) Jeffers of Kingstree, SC; five grandchildren, Toni Hanchett-Jeffers, Victoria Hanchett, Jean Haskins, Caitlin Gentry, and Thomas Gentry; two great-grandchildren, Kolton Miller and Keenan Miller; a brother, Michael (Gillian) Maddox of Little Rock, AR; nephews and nieces, including special niece Stacey Okert. Friends may call at the Ulysses Free Methodist Church on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 7:00 PM. The Rev. Brad J. Miller, Pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patterson Cancer Center, c/o Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA 16915 or the Free Methodist Church, Ulysses, PA 16948.
