Derrick A. WILLETTS

Derrick A. WILLETTS, 28, of Scio, NY, died Monday, August 19, 2024. 

He was born May 27, 1996, in Wellsville. A 2015 graduate of Scio Central School, he worked with Job Corps for a few years. After Job Corps, he was employed by TPI in Arcade and recently by Saputo in Friendship as a forklift operator. Derrick enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his family and friends. 

Surviving are: his father, Thomas M. Willetts of Scio; two siblings, Zachary Willetts and Megan Ramsey; paternal grandmother, Marcie Willetts of Scio; an aunt, Kristina Willetts; a cousin, Daelyn Willetts; an uncle, Donald (Leann) Bo; and several other special aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Jennette A. Ramsey. 

Services will be held on a later date. Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory. 

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the SPCA serving Allegany County.
