Donna F. LAMPMAN, 83, of Ulysses, PA, died Thursday, November 21, 2024 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.
A gathering to celebrate Donna’s life will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Carl E. Hyde American Legion Post #963 in Ulysses beginning at 3:00 PM.
Born April 5, 1941, in Troupsburg, NY, she was the daughter of Albert A. and Elsie M. Bailey Cornish. A 1958 graduate of Troupsburg Central School, she was employed by Galeton Production and Electri-Cord in Westfield. Her interests included tending to her house plants and reading. She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: two sons, Christopher (Lisa) Lampman of Knoxville and Larry Lampman of Ulysses; two daughters, Laureen Addis of Ulysses and LeAndra (Brahim 'Dean' Benounane) Russo of New Rochelle, NY; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Marjory Burdick of Amarillo, TX; three brothers, Jim (Sharon) Cornish of Troupsburg, Wally (Mim) Cornish of Coudersport, and Joe (Linda) Cornish of Rochester, NY; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and 'bonus' children. She was predeceased by four brothers, Richard Cornish, Stanley Cornish, Martin Cornish, and Kenneth M. Cornish; longtime companion, Albert “Smokey” Pfeiffer; and great-grandson, Kiel Lampman. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, NY.
