Dorothy R. BUCHHOLZ, 78, of Mechanicsburg, PA, formerly of Genesee, died peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, in Haven Place, Lock Haven. 

Born January 5, 1948, in Mills, she was the daughter of Clayton W. and Marguerite Jeffers Converse. On June 3, 1967, in Whitesville, NY, she married Dennis L. Buchholz, who survives. Dorothy lived a life marked by deep devotion to her family, quite strength, and endless generosity. Dorothy's interests were going for walks, camping, working in her flower beds, and enjoying time with her family and friends. 

Surviving beside her husband, Dennis, are: two children, Michelle Spicer of Mechanicsburg and Dennis (Danielle) Buchholz of Concord; five grandchildren; Chelsea (Chad) Hench of Newville, Trenton Spicer of Mechanicsburg, Zachary (Kelsey) Buchholz of Shermans Dale, Nathan (Ashley) Buchholz of Coudersport, and Maddison Buchholz of Concord; nine great-grandchildren, Raven Hench, Mackenzie Hench, Skyler Buchholz, Athena Buchholz, Colton Buchholz, Chevy Buchholz, Titan Buchholz, Bison Buchholz, and Nova Buchholz; a brother, Donald Converse of Manheim; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Thomas A. Spicer; a sister, Carol G. Ransom; and a brother, Wesley Eugene Converse.
