Edith M. “Edie” COYNE, 75, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Amherst, died Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born February 15, 1949, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of James and Alice Brewer Davis. In 1972, in Monroe County, she married Martin C. Coyne, who predeceased her on April 24, 2015. A graduate of Scio High School, she also attended BOCES for Secretarial Science. Edie was employed by North American Van Lines in Buffalo as a dispatcher.
Surviving are: two children, Martin John Coyne and Bridget C. (Carmen, Jr.) Marinaccio; several grandchildren; a brother, Charles Davis; three sisters, Lucy Pierce, Doris (Steve) Meitzler, and Sara Moran; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Carmen Marinaccio, III; a sister, Rose Marie Davis; and an infant brother, James.
Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Elva Cornell will officiate. Burial will be in Stannards Cemetery.
