Ernest G. "Jack" JACKSON, Jr., 86, of Scio, NY, died Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Wellsville Manor Care Center, Wellsville, NY.
Born July 21, 1932, in Wellsville, he was the son of Ernest G. and Agnes Ost Jackson.
He was a graduate of the Breeden School of Welding in Genesee, PA.
A Korean War Veteran, he served honorably in the US Army from 1952 to 1955.
He was employed as a trucker and welder by several area manufacturing companies. Ernest was employed as a farmer by Ted Boser in Allegany, NY for 15 years.
Surviving are:  seven children from his first marriage, Ernest G. "Butch" (Kathy) Jackson, III of Scio, L. Renee (Bradley) Craig of Bradford, PA, L. Roger (Jennifer) Jackson of Olean, NY, Robin (Matthew) Sanders of East Otto, NY, Scott (Linda) Jackson of Surrey, VA, Debra (David) Burton of Katy, TX, and Laurie (Thomas) McClory of Franklinville, NY;  16 grandchildren;  13 great-grandchildren;  a brother, Ronald (Susan) Jackson of Delevan, NY;  five sisters, Ernestine Hanes of Schertz, TX, Esther Moltrup of Scio, Linda Rix of Scio, Sandra (Will) Duell of Shinglehouse, PA, and Beverly Brown of Scio; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his second wife, Connie;  a son, Ronald Ralph "Randy" Jackson;  a brother, Robert Jackson;  and three sisters, Cora Kinnicutt, Audrey Jackson, and Betty Jackson.
A Memorial Service will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA serving Allegany County, P.O. Box 381, Wellsville, NY 14895.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville, NY.
