Everett H. SILSBY

Everett H. SILSBY, 94, of Andrews Settlement, PA, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in his home. Born July 10, 1921, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Charles A. and Iva C. Fanton Silsby. On December 24, 1968, in Little Marsh, PA, he married the former Mona M. McCaslin, who survives. Mr. Silsby was a driller in local oil fields and a self-employed truck driver for many years. Surviving besides his wife, Mona, are: two sons, Curtis James (Brenda) Silsby of Sparta, WI and Stuart E. (Amanda) Silsby of Coudersport, PA; a step-son, Edgar (Patricia) McCaslin of Lakeland, FL; three daughters, Betty Jo Silsby and Susan Schoonover, both of Butler, PA, and Marie D. Bowen of New Tazewell, TN; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased four brothers, Edgar, William, Donald, and Fred; and three sisters, Phoebe Linniger, Doris Sprester, and Phyllis Rude. Friends may call Friday, February 26, 2016 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. The Rev.
