Frieda A. MATTISON, 72, of Genesee, PA, died Monday, September 28, 2026 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport. 

Born October 4, 1953, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Burt M. and Beatrice Jeffers Proctor. On March 5, 1972, she married Roger Gordon Mattison, who survives. A graduate of Northern Potter High School, she was employed by Cooper Slide in Genesee and several area restaurants. 

Surviving besides her husband, Roger Gordon Mattison, are: four children, Roger Gordon (Anna) Mattison, Jr. of Ulysses, Timothy Mattison of North Bingham, Bruce Mattison of Mills, Cathy Mattison of Genesee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry W. Proctor of Genesee; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Linda Moyer and Stephanie Proctor of Genesee.
