Garnet L. Graves of the Hallsport Road passed away on Friday September 4, 2009 in the Jones Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1931 in Uniontown, PA. to Harry and Ethel (Bolen) Layhue. On February 15, 1965 she married John A. Graves who survives her.
Garnet was a long time resident of the Hallsport Road. She is survived by her husband John and a stepson Steven Graves of Corning. She was predeceased by her parents, four sisters and a brother.
There will be now prior visitation and burial will take place in the Hallsport Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the J.W.Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville.
