Gary Gene DILLON, 84, of Hendersonville, NC, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at home. He was born on May 21, 1934 in Camden, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Henry and Edith Clensy Dillon.
He graduated from Miami University of Ohio, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and played basketball for the University's team. It was there that he met and married his wife of 64 years, Beverly Mulholland. He was employed by four different U.S. manufacturing firms and lived in 12 different U.S. cities during his career. He retired as C.E.O. of Schwitzer, Inc. with operations in North America, Canada, England and South America.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by three children; Kristin Morgan of Phenix City, AL; Deborah Dillon and her husband, Mike McJunkins of Louisville, KY; Kirk Dillon, and his wife, Diane of Irmo, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held November 17, 2018 in Thos. Shepherd's Church Street Chapel, Hendersonville.
