Gary Michael HUNT

Gary Michael HUNT, 67, of Whitesville, NY, died Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.

Born December 24, 1955, in Hallsport, he was the son of Leon A. and Margaret S. Billings Hunt. He attended Whitesville Central School. Gary loved farming and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed watching movies, music, riding motorcycle, and hunting. 

Surviving are: a son, Chad (Amy) Hunt of Wellsville; three daughters, Tammy Hunt of Whitesville, Carrie (Milo) Grey of Poulsbo, WA, and Serina Hunt of Wellsville; four grandchildren, Dakota Graves, Jacob Graves, Skylar Graves, and Lee Mallory; a great-granddaughter, Abigail Green; two sisters, Leah (Lloyd) Potter of Whitesville and Lois (Burdette) Cowburn of Ulysses, PA; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Noreen K. Whitesell.

Friends may call at OLNEY-FOUST Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dennis Munro will officiate. Burial will be in Hallsport Union Cemetery.
