Helen L. SEAGERS, 88, of Bradenton, FL, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Casa Mora Rehabilitation and Extended Care, Bradenton. 

Born September 9, 1937, in Potter Brook, PA, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Lottie V. Thompson Abbott. Helen was a graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School, Westfield, PA. 

On October 22, 1955, in the People’s Church of Potter Brook, Potter Brook, PA, she married William J. Seagers, who survives. Helen and Bill resided in Newport, RI for three years while Bill served in the U.S. Navy. She was employed by Galeton Production, Galeton, PA for 14 years. They went on to live in Abilene, KS and Colorado Springs, CO, retiring to Bradenton. 

Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are: a daughter, Pam Jordan of Sarasota; two granddaughters, Bethany Ann Ritter and Kelsey Foster; a great-granddaughter, Millie Jane Foster; a niece, a nephew, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tara Ritter; and two sisters, Lela M. Williams and Louise E. Kemp. 

Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
