Jack S. FLORENTINE, 88, of Wellsville, NY, died Saturday, September 26, 2026 in Wellsville Manor Care Center. 

Born December 23, 1937, in Bradford, PA, he was the son of Reynold Florentine, Jr. and Virginia M. Stannard Florentine Ryan. On August 22, 1970, in Lackawanna, he married Rose-Marie A. Ellis, who predeceased him on February 29, 2016. He was a graduate of Bradford High School. Jack was a coin and stamp collector and loved classic cars. 

Surviving are: three children, Bernadette (Garry) Hall of North East, PA, John Florentine of Olean, and Timothy Florentine of Horseheads; four grandchildren, Rachael Florentine, John Florentine Jr., Camryn (Tylor) Hall, and Cassidy (Evan) Hall; two great-grandchildren, Lily and Lucas; a niece, Jill (Michael) Haney of Scio; a great-niece, Tiffany; and a great-nephew, Kody. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Judith V. Florentine; and his stepfather, Michael E. Ryan. The family would like to thank Wellsville Manor and staff for their compassionate care over the past several years. 

Private funeral services will be held at Olney-Foust & Embser Funeral Homes & Cremation, 34 West State St., Wellsville, NY. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Wellsville.
