Janet A. WHITE

Janet A. WHITE, 75, of Riverside Drive, Wellsville, NY died Friday, April 18, 2025, surrounded by her family in her home. 

Born December 23, 1949, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Arthur and Daisey Barlow Nye. In 1967, in Andover, she married Edward R. White, who survives. A graduate of Andover Central School, she entered the workforce as a bus driver for Andover Central School before finding her career at Jones Memorial Hospital in the Dietary department, retiring after 28 years. 

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Edward, she is survived by: three children, Edward R. (Paula) White II of Louisville, KY, Angela S. (Randall) Brown of Shongo, and Alexander Scott (Christina) White of Scio; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jane Green and Cookie Slack, both of Jackson, AR, and Patt Moore of Louisiana; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private. Burial will be in Hallsport Union Cemetery.
