Jeanette N. MILLER

Jeanette N. MILLER, 79, of Ulysses, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. 

Born October 11, 1946, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Daniel P. and Pauline Heller Nauman. On October 22, 1966, in Yorks Corners, NY, she married Donald N. Miller, who survives. She was a 1965 graduate of Northern Potter High School. 

Jeanette found joy in sewing, cooking, and canning, and in sharing her talents to bless others. She was loved by all who met her, and her kindness and generosity touched every life she encountered. Above all, she treasured her family, whom she deeply loved. Jeanette’s deep faith in Jesus Christ guided every part of her life. She lived with gratitude for His grace and sought to reflect His love through her words and actions. Her steadfast trust in the Lord was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her quiet strength and joyful spirit were a testimony to her faith. 

Surviving besides her husband, Don, are: her four children, David (Sharon) Miller of Zeeland, MI, Darlene (Bob) McCoy of Mayville, MI, Danelle Miller of Concord, NH, and Denise Miller of Waverly, NY; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Joyce (Harold) Lefever of Elmira, NY, Janet (Charles) Ness of Skippack, Benjamin (Mary Jane) Newcomer of Rockingham, VA, Mildred (Fred) Hershey of Huntsville, AL, Glenn (Lisa) Newcomer of Elmira, NY, Margaret (Marcus) Thomson of Millersville, Sharon (Larry) Cleek of Ulysses, Lynn (Sue) Newcomer of Ulysses, and Jesse (Sandra) Nauman of Ulysses; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Jonathan and David; and her step-mother, Reba Newcomer Nauman. 

Friends may call at Zion Christian Assembly, 835 SR 49W, Ulysses, PA 16948 on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service following at 2:00 PM. Rev. Bob McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
