Jeffrey M. GERTZEN

Jeffrey M. GERTZEN, 64, of Mills, PA, died Monday, June 16, 2025 in his home. 

Born July 21, 1960, in Norristown, he was the son of Frank and Joan Seewagan Gertzen. On October 17, 1981, in St. John’s Episcopal Church in Westfield, he married Pamela J. Atwell, who survives. A 1978 graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School, he was employed by National Fuel Gas for 33 years. A man of many interests and talents, he enjoyed fly-fishing, hunting, metal detecting, gardening, beekeeping, blacksmithing, making maple syrup, antique engine restoration, woodworking, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. 

Surviving besides his wife, Pam, are: two sons, James (Elaine Woodring) Gertzen of Harrison Valley and Alan (Betty Jo) Gertzen of Coudersport; four grandchildren, Trent, MacKenzie, Riley, and Ean; two brothers, Gregory Gertzen of Wellsville, NY and David (Brenda) Gertzen of Andover, NY; his step-mother, Kimberly Gertzen of Westfield; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
