Jeffrey R. "Jeff" TRACY

Jeffrey R. TRACY, 74, of Knoxville, PA, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. 

Born January 3, 1951, in Corning, NY, he was the son of Robert and Laverna Davis Tracy. On November 8, 1975, in Westfield, he married the former Annette “Toni” Beebe, who predeceased him on January 11, 2017. A graduate of Northern Potter High School, he was employed by Citizens & Northern Bank for several years and then was self-employed for many years. He was last employed by Erb Inspections, Inc. in Lawrenceville. 

Surviving are: three daughters, Christine (Mark Richmond) Simpson of Whitesville, NY, Lisa (Joseph) Stoddard of Lawrenceville, and Gina Greenfield of Wellsboro; a son, Chad Tracy (Rachel) Cowburn of Coudersport; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Justin) Foster, Jennifer Felts, Kim (Chad) Earley, Katelynd Fairchild, Elizabeth (Michael) Avery, Andrea Stoddard, Evan Cowburn, and Josh Cowburn; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda (Douglas) Smith of Rockwell, NC; a brother, Burdette Clark of Raeford, NY; three nephews; and a niece. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Melissa Tracy; and a son-in-law, John Greenfield. 

Services will be private. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
