Joanne M. LIMRICK, 87, of Bradford, PA, formerly of Roulette and Shinglehouse, died Monday, October 13, 2025 in Bradford Manor surrounded by family.
Born January 18, 1938, in Olean NY, she was the daughter of Victor and Mildred S. Bickford. She was adopted and raised by Ward and Cleva Parker Bickford. On December 21, 1958, she married Kenneth L. “Dick” Limrick, who predeceased her on June 30, 1996. A graduate of Smethport High School, she was employed by Dairy Bar in Farmers Valley, drove a school bus, installed pavement with Pave N Save, and was a caregiver. Joanne was a member of the Roulette Chamber of Commerce. Joanne had a tenacious spirit and lived her life how she wanted regardless of what anyone had to say. She loved fishing, bird watching, and tinkering with things. Joanne often enjoyed old classic blue grass country music. She had an infectious laugh that will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: four children, Beverly Austin of Shinglehouse, Phillip (Shannon) Limrick of Forth Valley, GA, Hellen (Douglas) Ryan of Shinglehouse, and June (Davis Kornacki) Schuppenhauer of Bradford; a brother, David Bickford of Emporium; a sister June Mason of Eldred; nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Kenneth (Brandi) Limrick of Cochran, GA, Betsy Mosher (Robert Pendleton) of Ellisville, M. Terri (Chad) Cole of Raeford, NC, Lloyd “Billy” Mosher II of Warner Robbins, GA, Amanda (Scott Wenner) Austin of Eldred, Calvin (Steve) Hall of Macon, GA, Whitney (Chad Weimer) Austin of Shinglehouse, Chance (Casey) Austin of Bradford, Cody (Caitlyn Daniels) Austin of Coudersport, Mason (Britany) Estes of Clifton, KS, Troy Schuppenhauer of Bradford, Patrica (Duddley) Griswold of Bradford, Tasha (Mark) Cauvel of Bradford, Micheal Vandergrift of Macon, GA, Zoey Hubble of Fort Valley, GA, Robbie Hubble of Fort Valley, GA; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kylie, Bristol, Brantley, and Chase Limrick of GA, Leila (Jacob) Mooney, Natalie, Elizabeth Evans of MS, Teri, Courtney, Lloyd III, Colton, and Eathan Mosher of GA, Jaden, Owen Carr and Zoe Pierce of PA, Evan and Anthony Bishop and Dallas Griswold of PA, Dominc and Sophia Cauvel of PA, Emrick Furman, Levaithan, Evander and Makenna Lee Weimer of PA, Aubery and Remaleigh Daniels of PA, Neveah Estes of KS. In addition to her husband, Joanne was predeceased by a daughter, Anna Mosher Selig; an infant son, Joseph Limrick; a granddaughter, Makena Lee Austin; two great grandchildren; Logan Limrick and Maddox White; and nine siblings, Donald Bickford, Joyce E. Milliron, Muriel Tanner, Patrica McClain, Jack Bickford, Stasha Mangle, Hiran Bickford, Marily Brown, and Lucille Ault.
A gathering to celebrate Joanne’s life will be held on a later date. Burial will be in Devers Cemetery, Banks Twp. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
