Jonathan G. “Buddy” ARMSTONG, 44, of Olean, NY, formerly of Wellsville, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in Olean General Hospital. 

Born February 11, 1981, in Wellsville, he was the son of Deborah Johnson and John G. Armstrong. Buddy attended East View Elementary School in Olean and then St. Mary’s School for the Deaf, Buffalo, where he was on the soccer and basketball teams. He also wrestled and played baseball for Wellsville High School. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, and spending time with his lifelong friends. 

Surviving are: two sisters, Lori (Carl) Dandridge and Tracy (Richard) Ahrens, both of Wellsville; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
