Joyce E. HANES, 78, of Galeton, PA, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 in her home in Leesburg, FL.
Born July 13, 1938, in Gold, PA, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Velma Converse Turner.
On April 10, 1954, in Sunderlinville, PA, she married Glen R. Hanes, who survives.
She was a member of square dance clubs in Canton, NY and Bath, NY.
Surviving besides her husband, Glen, are: two daughters, Kelly (William) Hackworth and Tracey (David) Holley, both of Silver Springs, FL; a son-in-law, Max Hoppe of Galeton; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Turner of Lititz, PA; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Kimblya Lottie and Rhonda Kay Hurd; an infant grandson, Edward K. Tanner; a brother, Duane Turner; and a sister, Shirley Turner.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Ulysses Cemetery.
