Kimberly Jo “Kim” VASKO, 58, of Austin, PA, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 in her home.
Born September 7, 1963, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Keith L. and Alberta Casbeer Purdy. On July 23, 1983, in Austin, she married Lee R. Vasko, who survives. She was a 1981 graduate of Austin Area High School. Kim was a member of the Austin VFW Auxiliary. Surviving besides her husband, Lee, are: two sons, Colt (Lacey) Vasko and Brody (Heidi) Vasko; five grandchildren, Forrester Smoker, Meera Smoker, Addison Vasko, Layla Gutshall, and Brylee Vasko; three sisters, Murial (Michael) Hoza, Robin (Roger) Nichols, and Tam Purdy of Austin; two brothers, Steve (Sally) Purdy and Dean Purdy; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two siblings, Rebecca Rees and Keith Purdy, Jr.
Private burial will be in Williams McFall Cemetery.
A gathering to celebrate Kim’s life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Austin VFW beginning at 12:00 Noon.
