Lee F. LaBARR

Lee F. LaBARR, 82, of Harrison Valley, PA, formerly of Elkland, died Monday, October 16, 2023 in his home.  

Born October 1, 1941, in Blossburg, he was the son of Frederick and Alice J. Minnick LaBarr.  On March 3, 1962, he married the former Janet Eileen VanCise, who predeceased him on June 17, 2015.  He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand and Dresser-Rand in Painted Post, NY for 45 years. 

Surviving are:  three children, Rick LaBarr, Tim (Donna) LaBarr, and Tammy Lee;  six grandchildren, Delilah LaBarr, Jebadiah LaBarr, Camellia LaBarr, Dominica LaBarr, Tyler Coover, and Kyle Coover;  several great-grandchildren;  a sister, Carol J. Seeley of Westfield;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa M. Coover;  and two grandchildren, Sampson LaBarr and Tari Wright.  

Private burial will be in Mills Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
