Linda M. BROKAW

Linda M. BROKAW, 74, of Scio, NY, died Saturday, July 16, 2022 in her home.  

Born June 13, 1948, in Hornell, she was the daughter of Howard and Sarah Ruth Duryea Brokaw.  A graduate of Hornell High School, she was a stay-at-home mother raising her six children.  Linda was a social person who loved country music, especially Ronnie Milsap and Conway Twitty, and she loved to play bingo.  

Surviving are:  two sons, Kenneth (Jeanie) Conley of Karns City, PA and William (Beth) Conley of Friendship;  two daughters, Mary (Michael) Conley of Wellsville and Sharlene Conley of Wellsville;  a daughter-in-law, Robin Conley of Wellsville;  14 grandchildren;  11 great-grandchildren;  a brother, Gary (Lynn) Brokaw of Ontario;  nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Orin Holberton;  two sons, Gerrald “Skip” Conley, Jr. and Ronald P. Conley;  and a sister, Marilyn “Molly” Brokaw. 

Friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate Linda’s life at Island Park in Wellsville on Saturday, August 13, 2022 beginning at 3:00 PM.  Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Howard, NY.  Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
