Linda C. TUBBS, 74, of Ulysses, PA, died Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.  


Born May 29, 1949, in Blossburg, she was the daughter of Edwin Cole and Florence P. West Cole.  On June 24, 1978, in Harrison Valley, she married Charles M. “Spood” Tubbs, who predeceased her on November 27, 2022.  She was employed by Electri-Cord in Westfield, Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, K&W Medical Supplies in Westfield for 17 years, and was also a licensed cosmetologist.  Linda enjoyed quilting, sewing, and watching cop shows.  She loved Elvis, butterflies, plants, music, dancing, and having fun at the casino.  She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  


Surviving are: three children, Shannon (Brian) Graves of New Milford, Larinda (Wally) Watson of Whitesville, NY, JR (Audrey) Tubbs of Geneva, OH; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandsons; eleven siblings, Theron Roosa of Orlando, FL, William (Vicky) Roosa of Knoxville, Leigh Roosa, Jr. of Claxton, GA, Edna (Todd) Long of Knoxville, Lynette (Ernie) O’Dell of Dubois, Kim (Buzz Kolesar) Roosa of Westfield, Judy Homan of Orlando, FL, Audrey Lang of Westfield, Laura (Rick) Gleason of Salamanca, NY, Lynn Dalton of Lawrenceville, and Elizabeth (Mark) Christley of Nelson; nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Dibble; and a grandson, Tucker Storm Watson.
