Linda Jean WHITE

Linda Jean White, 76, of Wellsville, died Monday, August 4, 2025, at Highland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 16, 1948, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Leslie R. and Lois Jean (Austin) White.

Linda attended Wellsville Central Schools. She was employed by several local businesses, including the Texas Hot for several years, in a beauty salon, and at a nursing home. Outside of her work, she really enjoyed team bowling.

She is survived by: two sisters, Leslie White Durant of Rome, NY and Sandy White Rifenburg of Wellsville; four nieces; and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Gale White Salmonson.

Friends are invited to call on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10 am – 11 am, at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home of Wellsville, 34 West State Street. A Graveside Service will follow at 11 am in Woodlawn Cemetery.
