Louise, known to her family as Weezie, had worked for the former Keyser Glove Factory in Wellsville later for the Marion-Rhor Company in Hornell. She was a long time member of the Immaculate Conception Church who enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles. Later in her life she had the opportunity to spend more time with her family and became close friends wither sister in law Eileen Palmatier. Weezie lived a full life and will be remembered for being cheerful, having a quick wit, easy going, a sense of humor and whose company everyone enjoyed.
Survivors include 3 grandchildren, William, Michael and Theresa; 4 great grandchildren; a sister in law Eileen Palmatier; several nieces and nephews.
Louise was predeceased by a son William F. O'Connor III; a sister, Virginia Washburn; 5 brothers, Caleb, Noel, Gilbert, Donald and Frank Palmatier
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 6, from 9 am to 10:30 am at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 am in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 am in the Immaculate Conception Church of Wellsville. Her burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery and memorials in her name may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church or to the David A. Howe Library.
