Marcia L. BASTIAN, 74, of Wellsville, NY, died Monday, May 25, 2026, in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. 

Born January 8, 1952, in Painted Post, she was the daughter of Robert Perry Sr. and Marion Rosalee Deats Faulkner. 

A graduate of Corning-Painted Post West High School, she was employed at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as a Nurse’s Aide. 

Marcia was married to Jan Hubertus Bastian, who predeceased her on May 22, 1997.

Surviving are: a son, Jason Smith of Wellsville; a daughter, Melanie (Michael) Culver of Inwood, WV; three grandchildren, Dominik Culver, Eric Culver, and Nicholas Culver; three siblings, Robert Faulkner of Gang Mills, Michelle (Charles) Cody of Beaver Dams, Tara (Michael) Gross of Coopers Plains; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four siblings, Sharon Spiess, Marlene Wentling, Scott Faulkner, and Lisa Faulkner.

Friends may call at Olney-Foust & Embser Funeral Homes & Cremation, 34 West State St., Wellsville on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery, Painted Post.
