Nadine Kathrine ORDWAY

Nadine Kathrine Ordway, 87, of Whitesville, NY, went to be home with the Lord on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was born January 5, 1938, in North Tonawanda, the daughter of the late Jack and Lyda (Turner) Waugaman.

Nadine was raised in North Tonawanda and graduated from North Tonawanda High School. She was the Director of the Whitesville Public Library for 31 years. She was a member of the Living Hope Center in Whitesville, life member of the Whitesville Ladie Auxiliary, and in earlier years she was an active volunteer at the Whitesville Central School; she enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, word searches and backgammon.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelynne Stevens; three grandchildren, Santino Sassorossi, Sophia Stevens, and Serenity Stevens, all of San Antonio, TX; and her former son-in-law, Cjay Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. Ordway; a sister, Judith A. Niemiec; and a brother, Jack Waugaman.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5 – 7 pm at the Living Hope Center in Whitesville, 920 Commercial Avenue.
