Pearl J. CRIPPEN

Pearl J. CRIPPEN, 81, of Westfield, PA, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

Born April 24, 1939, in Troupsburg, NY, she was the daughter of Raymond L. and Florence Miles Mattison.  On March 6, 1958, in the Judson near Sunderlinville, she married Rial B. Crippen, who survives.  Her life was devoted to the care of her family.  Pearl’s passion was quilting and she enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving besides her husband, Rial, are:  four children, Rick (Pam) Crippen of Westfield, Juanita Hand of Westfield, Shirley (Mike) Thompson of Ulysses, and Jeffrey (Lavina) Crippen of Westfield;  ten grandchildren;  four great-grandchildren;  a sister, Grace Welch of Merchon, GA;  nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by two sons, Rial B. Crippen, Jr. and infant Mark Crippen;  a granddaughter, Whitney Marie Crippen;  and a brother, Cecil Mattison.

A private service will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook.
