November 20, 1947 — August 17, 2018

Penelope R. "Penne" SCOTT, 70, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Latrobe, PA passed away peacefully on August 17, 2018 in St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL, surrounded by her sons.
Friends may call at Unity Chapel, 114 Chapel Lane, Latrobe, PA on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:00 AM -- 12:00 Noon, with a Memorial Service following at 12:00 Noon.
Penne was born on November 20, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, and was the youngest of four children born to Kenneth C. and Jean E. Roberts Scott.  After graduating from North Hills High School, Penne worked in a variety of positions helping others including the Easter Seals Society and customer service at Home Depot (Latrobe, PA and St. Petersburg, FL).  Penne also had a passion for travel and a love for animals, especially birds.  In addition to caring for animals, Penne followed her lifelong dream of living in Florida this summer.  She spent her last few months going to the beach, watching sunsets, and making new friends in the St. Petersburg area.

Surviving are: three sons, Jeffrey (Tami), Kenneth (Jaclyn), and Peter (Amy); four grandchildren, Spencer, Kaitlin, Andrew, and Wilson; three siblings, Nancy, Robert, Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
