Peter M. MULKIN, 77, of Wellsville, NY, died Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. 

Born April 22, 1949, in Wellsville, he was the son of Emmett W. and Idarose Wasserloos Mulkin. A graduate of Wellsville High School, he earned a degree in automotive from Alfred State University. On April 4, 1998, in Wellsville, he married Sherri L. Dunbar, who survives. Before becoming the Transportation Supervisor for 30 years at Wellsville Central Schools, Peter was employed by Texaco and Whelpley’s Implements in Wellsville. Peter was a member of First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellsville, Wellsville Moose Lodge #601, and a 50 plus year member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing in all bodies of water, woodworking, producing maple syrup, and loved his black labs. 

Surviving besides his wife, Sherri, are: five children, Dr. Lisa K. (Dr. Joshua Souweine) Mulkin of Palmyra, Ryan (Kim Page) Mulkin of Port Gibson, Levi (Nicholette) Grover of Manns Harbor, NC, Brandon (Christa Clark) Grover of Genesee, PA, and Bobbisue (Craig Lawrence) Louvros of Nags Head, NC; twelve grandchildren, Byron, Korey, Lucas, Averi, Brianna, Callie, Roxy, Chase, Marlee, Clara, Winnie, and Lila; a great-grandson, Oliver; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William E. Mulkin; and a grandson, Landon Cooper Louvros. 

Friends may call at First Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 North Main Street, Wellsville on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
