Quinton Ray STALLINGS, 85, of Whitesville, NY, died Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville.
Born March 6, 1941, in Hertford, NC, he was the son of Quinton Thomas and Iola Alonza Dale Stallings. He was a graduate of Hertford High School and served honorably with the US Navy from 1958 – 1962.
On September 20, 1986, in Wellsville, he married Linda J. Achey, who survives.
Ray worked as a splitter at the Westfield Tannery in Westfield, PA.
He was a member of the NRA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Karen Wagner of Chalfont, PA, Eric (Charisse) Stallings of Lake Land, FL; three step-children, Amos Ritter of Wellsville, Kenneth (Monica Burger) Barthol of Slatington, PA, and Kimberly (Tim) Pensyl of Whitesville; 10 grandchildren, Sean Stallings, Zack Wagner, Emily Stallings, Josh Barthol, Samantha Barthol, Cassie Pensyl, Katie Pensyl, Jesse Pensyl, Hannah Ritter, and Matthew Ritter; a brother, Alan (Yvonne) Stallings of Oak Island, NC; a sister, Sandra (Joe) Winslow of Elizabeth City, NC; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Larry Stallings; a nephew, Quinton Stallings; a step-son, Michael Barthol; and a son-in-law, Steve Wagner.
