Rachael Elizabeth RIX, 37, of Wellsville, NY, died Thursday, October 29, 2026. 

Born July 12, 1989, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Alan and Michele L. Burgess Rix. Rachael attended Wellsville High School. 

Surviving are: her son, Jaxson Matthew Spear of Wellsville; a daughter, Madison Cathlene Hall of Belfast; a sister, Maegan Rix of Wellsville; maternal grandfather, Dale Burgess of Wellsville; paternal grandmother, Linda Rix of Scio; aunts and uncles, Walter (Ellen) Rix of Shinglehouse, Sophia Merry, Jeff (Stacey) Rix, Dena (Jim) Helms, and Trina Babbit, all of Wellsville, and Tracy Perkins of Scio; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; maternal grandmother, Dawn Burgess; paternal grandfather, Walter Rix; an aunt, Deedra Washburn; and uncle, Cecil Rix. 

Friends may call at Knights Creek Church, 2987 County Road 9, Scio on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, with a memorial service following at 4:00 PM. Rev. Carl Kemp will officiate. Burial will be in Knights Creek Cemetery, Scio. 

Memorials may be made to the family or Knights Creek Church.
