Ricky A. CALHOUN, 45, of Friendship, NY, died Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. 

Ricky was born on August 20, 1980, in Wellsville. A graduate of Friendship Central School, he worked for local farms for many years. 

Surviving are: his son, Carson Calhoun; his mother, Jean (Craig) Zilker of Friendship; his father, Rick Calhoun of Friendship; six siblings, Katrina Calhoun, Nicole Calhoun, Lisa Calhoun, Kirsten Calhoun, Kiley Calhoun, and Brock Calhoun; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Anna Friar; and his paternal grandparents, Warren and Blanch Calhoun. 

A gathering to celebrate Ricky’s life will be held on a later date. Memorials may be made to SPCA serving Allegany County.
