Robert H. TAYLOR, 70, of Harrison Valley, PA, formerly of the Olean, NY area, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA.
Born January 30, 1946, in Middlebury Center, PA, he was the son of Wallace and Ellen Nickerson Taylor.
He was married to the former Marian Stocum, who survives.
Bob was employed by the Friendship Foundry and worked on George Hamilton's potato farm for many years.
Surviving besides his wife, Marian, are: four children, Marie (Ken Mesler) Chapman of Harrison Valley, Robert H. Taylor, Jr. of Wellsville, NY, Susan (George Grossman) Stocum of Wellsville, NY, and Peggy (Edward) Nelson of Bolivar, NY; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several siblings. He was predeceased by five grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Ulysses Cemetery. The Rev. Trevor Price will officiate.
