Ronald A. DENNING, Jr., 59, of Bolivar, NY, died Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Olean General Hospital. 

Born August 5, 1966, in Wellsville, he was the son of Ronald, Sr. and Geraldine Hepworth Denning. A graduate of Bolivar High School, he worked in carpentry and helped build carwashes with Clyde Walters in Florida. Ronnie moved to Florida where he met his wife, Hanby Walters, marrying in 1985. He was an avid fisherman, a NASCAR and Earnhardt fan, enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins, having a brewski, listening to music, shooting pool with Jessie Proctor, visiting with people, and putting on chicken barbeques with his cousin, Darron “Hogger” Ayers. 

Surviving are: his children, R. Scott (Amanda) Denning of Clayton, GA, TJ (Jessica Summerville) Denning of Lake Land, FL, and Tabitha (Joshua) Bigelow of Clayton, GA; six grandchildren, Kaneon, Ashden, Hanby, Nevaeh, Khloe, and Maverick; ten siblings, Deborah (David) Jones of Angelica, Veronica Denning of Wellsville, Penny Denning of Cuba, Wanda Radomski of Cuba, Andy Denning of Wellsville, Jack Denning of Olean, Kathie Denning of PA, John (Karyn) Denning of Black Creek, Leo Denning of Weston Mills, and David Denning of Wellsville; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. He was predeceased by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; two sisters, Ruth Denning Veley and Cindy Denning Tucker. 

A private gathering to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held on a later date. Memorials may be made to Richburg Volunteer Fire Department.
