Ronald W. SHEFFIELD

Ronald W. SHEFFIELD, 78, of Andover, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, February 2, 2025 at home. 

Born August 8, 1946, in Brockport, he was the son of George and Marie Donahue Sheffield. 

He was married to Linda L. Connolly, who predeceased him on October 3, 2018. 

Ron was employed as an auto body mechanic for many years. 

Surviving are: two daughters, Rhonda McWilliams of Andover and Audrey Moore of Bradenton, FL; a stepson, James Hovey; four grandchildren, Mark McWilliams, Kayla McWilliams, Garrett Moore, and Andrew Hovey; three great-grandchildren, Shaylynn McWilliams, Waylen Moore, and Haisley Moore; a brother, Richard Sheffield of FL; a sister, Marie Chaffee of GA; nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a stepson, Michael Snell; and siblings, Dorothy, Virginia, Geraldine, John, Robert, Barbara, Charles, Patricia, George, Lawrence, Donald, Carol, Marie, Gerald, and Joan. 

Services will be held in Brockport at a later date. 

Memorials may be made to the Hornell Humane Society.
