Sandra L. COOPER, 80, of Belmont, NY, died Saturday, March 28, 2026 in her home. 

Born October 29, 1945, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Albert and Joetta Hoover Brown. On May 11, 1968, in Belmont, she married James D. Cooper, who survives. A graduate of Belmont Central School, she was employed by ACME Electric in Cuba and as a receptionist at the medical center in Belmont for 20 years. 

Surviving besides her husband, Jim, are: a daughter, Sherry Cooper of Belmont; a great-grandson, Zachery Hockenberry of Shinglehouse, PA; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Brown of Belmont; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Hope M. Cooper; a granddaughter, Courtney M. Clark; two brothers, Walter Brown and Richard Brown; and a sister, Janice McNinch. 

The family would like to thank Amity Rescue, Medical Transport Service, and the New York State Police for their quick response in a time of need.
